We operate on a first-come, first-serve riding schedule. However, we will take reservations for groups of 8 or more.
We are open April thru the last weekend before Thanksgiving. SEASONAL HOURS Summer Hours Tuesday thru Sunday 10:00 AM with the last ride leaving at 5:00. Please call for Spring & Fall Hours. Stable closed Mondays except Holidays.
Kids MUST BE at least 8 years of age. Double riding is NOT allowed at Maybury riding stable. There is also a strict 240 lb. weight limit for all of our horses. Maybury Riding Stables, LLC reserves the right to deny any service if deemed unsafe for any persons or livestock.
Horseback Riding
$28 per rider weekdays
$30 per rider weekends and holidays
No Reservations Required for hourly rentals for groups of 8 or less.
However reservations are neccessary for the following: Merit Badges, Youth groups, Lessons, Private rides, Photo shoots, Camp fire rides, Birthday Parties, and Hayrides.
Girl Scout Horse Fan and Horse Rider Programs
$28 per scout weekdays
$30 per scout weekends
H.F.B. and H.R.B. includes ground lesson and horseback riding lessons that takes approximately 1 hour and a half ( pending group size) to complete from the time you arrive until the time you head back home. By reservation only.
Evening Rides
Bring a group of your favorite friends for an evening ride, with a cozy private campfire. $35.00 per rider, 6 person minimum, reservations required.
Hayrides
$8 per person with a minimum charge of 20 people. Your group will receive a 30-35 minute tractor drawn hayride with a cozy private campfire to warm up to. Don't forget the marshmallows/hot dogs and roasting sticks.
Kiddie hayrides - enjoy a 30 minute tractor drawn hayride through the fields and woods of Maybury State Park. $5 per person with a minimum charge of 20 people.

Pony Rides
$5 Per ride, as available.
Lessons
Little Buckaroo lessons - your little horse lover will learn to groom, saddle and sit high in the saddle. $30.00 per rider for a half hour private lesson. Basic riding lessons also available, $40.00 per hour. Reservations are required!
Home Schooler Program
Ground lessons and trail rides, $20 per rider. Reservations are required!
Birthday Parties
Birthday parties are a great way to celebrate at Maybury Riding Stable! We will provide the horses and/or hayride, and a covered shelter. You provide the cake, ice cream, gifts, and kids. We also have pony parties for kids at our stable. Please see Kim for more details. Reservations are required!
Little Buck-a-Roo School
For riders 4 to 7. 40 minutes of Horsey Fun, 4 week sessions. Thursdays at 3:00 pm July and August. Learn something new each week about horses with lots of riding time. At the end of each class, your Little Buckroo a roo will be making his/her own Little buck a roo scrap book. Please call to reserve your childs fun. $25.00 per rider, parent participation required (dress code for rider and participating parent require long pants and enclosed boot or shoe, please no pregnant parent participants.) Summer Lesson Sessions
For rider 8 to 15. Each one hour class you will gain new horse knowledge, with lots of ride time. Riders will be making his /her own Horse scrap book. These group lessons are designed for the horse crazy kid that just cant get enough time in the saddle. Please call to reserve you child's fun. $30.00 per rider (dress code for rider require long pants and enclosed boot or shoe.) Please fill out release form found on our website.
Summer Camps
Camps are held June thru August, Tuesday-Friday from 9:00-12:00 noon. Each day the kids learn something new about horses! Lots of hands on and riding time daily. The cost for camp is $250.00. Pre-registration required with $50.00 deposit. What a great way for your child to spend the summer. Reservations are required!
Photoshoots
Wedding Pictures, Senior Pictures, Family Portraits, Bring your photographer and your best smile! Reservations are required!
COME MINGLE WITH THE MAYBURY MONSTERS. Fall Family Fun!!
When: the last three Saturdays in Oct.
Arrive: 5:30 pm to Mingle the the Maybury Monsters-6:00pm/ Hayride 6:30pm /Campfire to 7:00pm .
This is a family friendly event. $10.00 per person. Please come dressed in costume. Monsters will be passing out candy. (park pass required, $6.00 day pass)
