Maybury riding stable is fortunate and grateful to reside within the borders of the Maybury State Park. The park has much to offer in addition to our horse riding activities, and you might want to plan a day of different activities here! The information below has been taken from the State's brochure on the park.

Maybury State Park contains almost 1,000 acres of gently rolling terrain, open meadow, mature forest, a variety of wildlife, and abundant wildflowers. The park is located and developed to give people in the metropolitan area an opportunity to get involved in outdoor recreation activities in a state park setting. Special emphasis is given to introducing people to the natural features of our environment who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
